Jesse's Room

What a great way to end a busy workday at a place like home. This place is cozy, warm and comfortable and a great place to stay. Watertown is blessed to have a nice bed and breakfast like the Jesse Stone House.

We were lucky WTTW Chicago prize winners of six southern Wisconsin B & Bs. We really liked this one. The breakfast, antiques, player piano, Phoebe and the soft bed. Thanks for having us here.

You have a wonderful, historical home here. The stained glass & painted glass are outstanding. The mattress was extremely comfortable & your breakfast was filling & tasty. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Your home brought back memories of our older days and gave us great memories of present days. Our stay with you was fantastic! The food was great as well as everything else. Thank you so much.

This B&B is a 5 star! We loved Jesse’s room with the sunny windows and sitting area where we could chat—something we don’t get much with a 3 year old at home. It was the most comfortable & inviting time we have had in a very long time. We will be back!!!

OK, first of all, you really need to invent a brand new category for your venture--- this is no Bed & Breakfast---- it’s a Bed & Banquet! We have eaten so well this weekend, Wow!
The rooms are so perfect for a quiet weekend get-a-way—lots of sunny windows, warm radiators & quietness. And, of course, the player piano was enthralling! We will be back to enjoy your hospitality again.

Pat & Chuck, you have outdone yourselves! For a couple that loves to adventure to different towns in different states and make discoveries in different B&B’s, yours has become top of our list! From the time we arrived, it just kept getting better as the hours went on. Your welcoming manner, the incredible house, the scrumptious breakfast, flawlessly presented, the conversation, the history, the enveloping bed, and our singing as we gathered around the player piano together, added up to be a most perfect Valentine’s Day. We look forward to returning & visiting our new friends…. Thank you for sharing your wonderful & memorable home.

A Valentine’s Respite - Such a beautiful place to take a break from the cares of life… and lovely way to enjoy the romance of Valentine’s Day. We felt comfortable and our every need was met! The multiple sitting rooms provided an excellent place to visit with our sister and her husband. We enjoyed the tasty and ample breakfast as well as visiting with other guests. Because of our growing family, my husband and rarely have time to ourselves. – Common story. This gift from our parents was much appreciated. Thanks Much! Proverbs 3:5-6

What a warm inviting home to come to on a cold damp fall day. We admire the beautiful antiques and artwork. Thank you, for sharing your home with us. Great hospitality and best breakfast we have ever had!!!

After traveling non-stop 1,040 miles from South Carolina, this was the perfect place to lay our head. Everything was wonderful from the comfy bed, large bright room and bathroom both with breath taking stained glass. Great breakfast and home and gardens! Enjoyed meeting Toby too! Chuck & Pat are perfect hosts.

How appropriate that Jesse’s room faces east, so that the gorgeous stained-glass window catches the sun’s first light. The bedroom set is very much like what was in the East Room of my grandmother’s home. A fun trip! More research needed in Watertown, see you again next autumn!

We treasured every moment here. We love Victorian antiques, romantic settings and it was all here under one roof! Included also the scrumptious food! We will recommend this to all of our friends and family. This is the best B&B we have stayed at. Absolutely! Thank you

So comfy & cozy & quiet. It's been a splendid visit. Breakfast was very good. I've spent three nights here and it's been just what I wanted and more. Wonder hostesses and very helpful. I just loved it.

What a lovely and enjoyable stay. Even though we came later Friday evening we were greeted warmly and introduced to the other couple staying. The room is comfortable and was well prepared. The flowers for Valentine’s Day were a nice touch.
The relaxed atmosphere was without a doubt inviting after a wonderful night’s rest and a beautifully set table with a delicious meal; we headed for a drive to Oconomowoc. We were pleasantly surprised to come across the train depot which had a great restaurant located within with plenty of trains to watch. After a quiet nap, upon returning, we headed out to the Cobblestone where Pat had made reservations.
When we returned from dinner, Chuck was at the player piano entertaining another couple. We joined in on the fun by choosing and singing songs. Delightful!!
Breakfast was later this morning (Ahh, a chance to sleep in). We were engaged in fabulous discussion of occupations, interests and most enjoyable—trains and travel. Make sure to engage Chuck & Pat again—dreams are well alive! Thank you for an exquisite and fascinating time.

We enjoyed the hospitality so thorough and warm of the Jesse Stone host & hostess! We came for a family reunion, centered on our uncle’s 90th birthday. Our family has a long & varied connection with Watertown. We have lived in Cambridge, Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid and New Jersey--- but nothing quite like Wisconsin.
